 Nathan John Feuerstein was born March 30, 1991. His initials NF (stylized IF) are an American musician, rapper and songwriter. There are two EPs on his discography: I'm Free (2012)[3]and an EP that was self-titled by Capitol CMG in 2014. His first major-label album, Mansion, was released on March 31, 2015. The album that he followed with Therapy Session was released on April 22nd, 2016. It peaked at number 12 on the US Billboard 200. His albums have been awarded numerous accolades including the Gospel Music Association Dove Award (Therapy Session) for Rap/Hip Hop Albums of the Year. Perception reached number one in the United States in 2017, and the third single, "Let You down", reached number 12 on the U.S. Billboard 200. Billboard Hot 100 was a global top 10 single. The same commercial success was achieved in his follow-up album The Search (2019). Feuerstein claimed that rap was a way to escape from his early years. Feuerstein recorded his songs using a Karaoke Machine, recording his instrumentals with one mic, and his raps on in the other. Feuerstein independently released Moments the album that was the first of his studio album, on November 29, 2010. The first single, "Alone", was released on August 2, 2011. Brooke Griffith and Tommee Profitt, the song's producer and songwriter, appeared in the track. Xist Music noticed Feuerstein’s work in the year 2012. His debut extended play I'm Free came out on May 2, 2012 by Feuerstein with production assistance from Profitt. The tracklist included nine tracks that included "Alone". The EP featured an exclusive version featuring Sean Simmonds from "Alone". Xist had been teased about the self-titled, extended version of the play, NF. However, Feuerstein has ended his association with the label and the release of NF was delayed. NF did include a track with Shuree William "Only One", on the label’s compilation album Move Vol 1 On November 4, 2013, he released the single "Beautiful Addiction". Profitt was once again featured in the track. Also, Danielle Swift sang.
